On Saturday, 19th March, 1870, at eleven o’clock, Messieurs Gemmell, Tuckett, & Co. will sell by auction (at their rooms, Collins Street, West) without any reserve, upwards of 800 volumes of valuable books : many of which are beautifully illustrated and some of them exceedingly rare; the property of B.S. Nayler, elocutionist, whose reduced circumstances exact the sacrifice of books, paintings, engravings, etc.
